The following are answers to frequently asked questions:
1. What do you do if the recipient is not home?
Generally, our drivers will contact the store and we will attempt to call the recipient first to see if they are home and just don't know our driver is attempting a delivery or get permission to leave at their door. Secondly, contact the customer to ask what they would prefer we do. Thirdly, a manager will make the decision to leave at the recipient's door or bring back to the store. If we leave anything at the recipient's door, we follow up with phone calls until we know they received it in satisfactory condition.
2. When do you stop taking orders or making deliveries?
We don't set arbitrary cut-off times for making deliveries. We try accommodate late orders as much as we can, particularly for funerals. Taking late orders depends on what you want to order, where the delivery will be and our current delivery situation.
3. Do I get exactly what I ordered?
We go to great lengths to stock a lot of flowers to give you exactly what is ordered, but there may some flowers in some arrangements that are not available or we can't get them quick enough for your order. We will make substitutions with similar flowers and similar colors to keep the arrangement in the same style and colors. If you have selected a specific plant, all of a certain flower or color of flower, we will not make substitutions without checking with you first.
We keep a large inventory of containers so that the container you see on the web site is what you get, but if we are out of a specific container we may need to select a similar one. The style of the container will be similar.
If you do not want any substitutions, please specify that in the additional instructions and we will call you.
4. Why should I call you to order flowers going out of town?
While it is true that you can search the internet to find a florist and call them directly, you have no way of knowing the quality of the florist. You also don't know if it is a florist or just an ORDER TAKER who will charge you more with extra fees and will use someone else to fill the order. We have years and years of experience with filling out of town orders through other florist and know who to contact to get your order done correctly. Many times the first florist, second, third or any florist you contact may not have the flowers you need or may not be able to deliver the order. We have experienced sales staff and managers that take and review orders very carefully and know what to recommend to you. We will exhaust all means of finding a florist to fill your order.
